Dear Valued Merchants,

Pursuant to the enactment of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 (effective 22.08.2025), all online money gaming services and associated payment processing activities are expressly prohibited under Indian law. Section 7 of the Act places a direct embargo on banks, financial institutions, and payment facilitators from processing such transactions.

In strict compliance with this legislation, we hereby notify you that all payment gateway services relating to online money gaming merchants stand temporarily suspended with immediate effect. This includes fantasy sports with entry fees and prize pools, card games involving monetary stakes, casino-style offerings, and any form of betting or wagering platforms. All affected merchants will receive separate email notifications.

All existing contractual arrangements remain legally binding, however, their operational execution is temporarily stayed pending further regulatory clarity. Status quo will be maintained on all current Account balances and record-keeping obligations will continue to be maintained, as usual, in the interim.

We are presently engaged with regulatory authorities, the Reserve Bank of India, and our banking partners to obtain specific instructions regarding the implementation of this Act and to understand the full implications of this Act. Further directives and compliance measures will be communicated as and when they become available.

This temporary suspension is a statutory necessity and is being effected to ensure absolute adherence to the applicable law of the land. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we navigate this regulatory development.
